Processos Públicos [Public Processes]

“Processos Públicos” [“Public Processes”] is an event (exhibition/event) with an experimental character, established incisively in time. The event was held in the basement of Paço das Artes, in Sao Paulo, where artists and visitors could share the same place, in a continuous process of creation and artistic enjoyment. Later, at the Museum of Culture at PUCSP, registrations were displayed, memories and traces of “Processos Públicos”, promoting reflections with the participation of artists, curators and teachers.
In this project, the emphasis was on artistic process, not the final object, in which venue is established as a place of events constituted by the action of the artist and visitor. The notion of authorship was weakened, taking the public as part of the process. The goal was to seek possibilities of contact from the confrontation, cooperation and assistance, constructing and deconstructing the artistic propositions.
